Aristotle and Alexander

If Aristotle had not mentored Alexander the Great well suffice to say he would have been just another  Alexander. At the University of Illinois at Chicago Professor David Dubois Ph.D discovered the secrets of a successful mentoring program.

To be successful, choose a program that trains its volunteers. Then ask to be paired with a child, who shares some of your interests, and build bonds by sharing a weekly activity.Do not be discouraged it will take time to build those bonds.Professor Dubois says”you need friendship as well as an adult-guding relationship, and the art of balancing both is important.”
