Reduce your risk?

A 2011 study,published in the journal Lancet Neurology,conducted by scientists at the University of California,San Francisco states that:

  • People participating in physical activity most days of the week could cut their risk by 21 percent.
  • Those getting treatment for depression could reduce their risk by 15 percent.
  • Those quitting smoking could lower their risk by 11 percent and those maintaining a healthy weight reduce their risk by 7 percent.
